Tucker Beathard, Tennessee’s sensational country artist is bringing his signature sounds to the Saint Andrews Hall!
Tucker Beathard was born in Nashville in 1995 and is a singer, songwriter, and multi instrumentalist (guitar and drums). He was introduced to music at an early age by his father (country songwriter Casey Beathard) and he started playing guitar and drums when he was 10 years old. Though he intended to play Division I baseball in college, he decided to pursue a career in country music instead. He said in an interview, “I had a baseball scholarship—I signed and committed to play baseball in college. But the night before I was supposed to report [to my college team], my passion for music was just too strong, and I didn’t feel like I’d be happy there.” His musical style is best described as contemporary country; a subgenre of country music that primarily draws from classic honky tonk, but also boasts all the advantages of updated production techniques and equipment, proving that pure country music can sound authentic yet modern. He released his debut single (Rock On) in 2016 and it hit #9 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart. He’s had a stellar career with 1 extended play, 2 singles, and 2 music videos.
Don’t miss your chance to see the artist who won an audience with his rowdy but heartfelt stories of Southern life, informed by rock, pop, and hip hop as much as contemporary country!
