The Toadies, Texas’ sensational alternative rock and grunge artists are bringing their signature sounds to the Saint Andrews Hall!
The band was formed in Fort Worth (Texas) in 1989 by Vaden Todd Lewis (vocals, guitar), Mark Reznicek (drums), Lisa Umbarger (bass), and Darrel Herbert (guitar). The band’s had many line-up changes since its formation and Todd has been the only consistent member. The current line-up consists of Todd (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Mark Reznicek (drums), Clark Vogeler (lead guitar, backing vocals), and Doni Blair (bass guitar). They’ve had a stellar career with 6 studio albums, 3 live albums, 3, extended plays, 12 singles, a collaborative single (with David Byrne of the Talking Heads), and 4 demo tapes. Their music has also been included in the compilation albums Heaven on a Stick: A Tribute to Cheap Trick, Chairman of the Board: Frank Sinatra Tribute, Dallas' Scene: Heard, Saturday Morning: Cartoons' Greatest Hits, WRAS 88.5 Presents Radio Oddyssey, Sandy Does Dallas, Come On Feel the Metal, KISW 99.9 Live @ Bob's Garage Vol. 1, and Monitor This! April/May 2001. They’ve also worked on the soundtrack of the films The Cable Guy, John Carpenter's Escape from L.A, The Crow: City of Angels, and Basquiat. The band has performed at renowned music festivals such as Lollapalooza, Wildflower! Arts and Music Festival, and Austin City Limits Music Festival.
