Neal Morse, California’s sensational rock and metal artist is bringing his signature sounds to the Saint Andrews Hall!

Neal Morse was born in Van Nuys (California) in 1960 and is a singer, songwriter, bandleader, composer, and multi instrumentalist (keyboards, drums, and guitar). Over the years, his musical style has spanned many genres such as progressive rock (a broad subgenre of rock music that grew out of psychedelic bands who abandoned standard traditions in favour of instrumentation and compositional techniques more frequently associated with jazz, folk or classical music), progressive metal (a fusion of heavy metal and progressive rock that combines the loud aggression and amplified guitar driven sound of the former with the more experimental, cerebral or pseudo classical compositions of the latter), and Christian rock (a form of rock music that promotes Jesus and is typically performed by self proclaimed Christian individuals and bands whose members focus the lyrics on matters of Christian faith). He’s best known as one of the founders of progressive rock band Spock’s Beard and he’s also had a stellar solo career with 9 studio albums, 6 live albums, 10 worship albums, and 6 video albums. He’s also been a guest artist on tracks by Ayreon, Roine Stolt, Dream Theater, Jordan Rudess, and Steve Hackett.
