Mozzy, California's sensational hip hop artist is bringing his signature sounds to the Saint Andrews Hall!

Mozzy (birth name Timothy Patterson) was born in Oak Park (Sacramento, California) in 1987 and is a rapper. He began his musical journey at the age of 11 by rapping with his uncle Genaro "GP the Beast" Patterson. He released his debut single in 2010 (under the moniker Lil Tim) and followed it up with his debut solo album (Money Means Mozzy) a year later. His musical style is best described as a blend of West coast rap (a subgenre of hip hop music - encompassing any artists or music that originates in the West Coast region of the United States – that dominated the hip hop scene in the mid 1990s, making gangsta rap into a popular phenomenon and establishing Dr. Dre as one of the most influential figures in rap history) and hardcore rap (a genre characterized by confrontation and aggression, whether in the lyrical subject matter, the hard, driving beats, the noisy sampling and production, or any combination thereof). His breakthrough came with his 2015 album (Bladadah) making it on Rolling Stone magazine's list of that year's best rap albums. He's had a stellar career with 18 albums, 1 extended play, and he's collaborated with Stevie Joe, Trae tha Truth, Gunplay, and many other artists.
