Extreme Midget Wrestling, the sensational event featuring tiny fighters, a tiny ring, but gigantic excitement is coming to the Saint Andrews Hall!
Midget wrestling became popular in the 1950s and 1960s, when wrestlers such as Little Beaver, Lord Littlebrook, and Fuzzy Cupid toured North America, and Sky Low Low was the first holder of the National Wrestling Alliance's World Midget Championship. In the 20 years that followed, more wrestlers became popular in North America, including foreign wrestlers like Japan's Little Tokyo. During the 1970s, many wrestling events also included tag team and women's midget wrestling. Midget wrestling also began to appear frequently on television shows and in the 1980s, the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) featured several midget wrestlers on their cards. The sport began to decline in the early 1990s but experienced a resurgence towards the end of the decade. Midget wrestlers started to appear on WWF and World Championship Wrestling (WCW) events and on the independent circuit, there was an increased interest in midget hardcore wrestling matches. Extreme Midget Wrestling is brought to you by specialist event production company Center Stage Entertainment and features a wrestler team of Bruce Lee Roy, Baby Jesus, Red Neck Brawler, Nasty Boy, Eddie Vato, Rampage, and Mike Hawk. Billed as the ‘Baddest Lil Show’, it’s no holds barred midget mayhem!
