Bleachers, New York’s sensational indie pop artist is bringing his signature sounds to the Saint Andrews Hall!

Bleachers was formed in New York City in 2014 and is the musical project of musician, singer, songwriter, and record producer, Jack Michael Antonoff. He’s best known as the lead guitarist of the indie rock band Fun and prior to that, the lead singer-songwriter of the band Steel Train. His musical style is best described as a blend of indie pop (a subgenre of alternative/indie rock originating in the United Kingdom in the late 1970s and differing from indie rock to the extent that it’s more melodic, less abrasive, and relatively angst free), indie rock (a genre of alternative rock that originated in the United States and the United Kingdom in the 1980s, encapsulating the genres chamber pop, indie pop, lo fi, math rock, neo psychedelia, post punk revival, sadcore, and shoegazing), new wave (a genre of rock music that moved away from smooth blues and rock and roll sounds to create pop music that incorporated electronic and experimental music, mod, and disco), and synth pop (a subgenre of new wave music that rose to prominence in the late 1970s and features the synthesizer as the dominant musical instrument). Under Bleachers, he’s released 3 studio albums, 6 singles, and collaborated with Grimes and Lorde.

Don’t miss your chance to see this artist add a unique touch to indie pop, new wave, indie rock, and synth pop music!
